BSNL is a 100% Government of India owned Public Sector Undertaking company providing Telecom services on PAN India basis. BSNL is a technology-oriented integrated telecom service providing company which provides complete bunch of telecom services i.e Wire line Services, GSM Mobile Services including 2G, 3G, 4G & Value added Services (VAS),  Internet and Broadband services including Fiber to the Home (FTTH), Wi-Fi services, Data Center services, Enterprise Data services such as Leased circuits, MPLS VPN etc, National Long Distance services, International Long Distance services, Audio Conferencing and Video Conferencing. It’s our motto to provide these services with complete transparency, reliability, economy and coverage to its customers.
BSNL in Himachal Pradesh has presence in every nook & corner and working to take connectivity in far flung remote areas of the Himachal Pradesh. BSNL is entrusted by Govt. of India to provide indigenously developed 4G/5G technology under Atamnirbhar Bharat Scheme & a prestigious Govt. of India project of 4G saturation for covering all uncovered villages. In HP, implementation of 4G saturation project is in progress for covering about 1205 uncovered villages or having 2G or 3G coverage in the state by installing 688 4G Mobile sites. BSNL HP is also providing telecom services to International Border posts of defence .
BSNL is also working to improve Fiber connectivity in every Block of the HP state under the Prestigious Bharat Net Project for implementation of e-Health, e-Learning and e-Governance in rural and far flung remote areas. In HP, presently 252 Gram Panchayats of Six blocks of Hamirpur, Solan & Mandi districts are covered under Bharat Net project on optical fiber & 158 Gram Panchayats of Chamba, Lahaul-Spiti, Kinnaur ,Shimla & Solan districts are covered with VSAT.  Our aim is to cover all 3363 left out Gram panchayats under Bharat Net Project for which about 25000 Km Optical fiber cable laying has been planned.
In Himachal Pradesh, BSNL is having 235 telephone exchanges & 2848 BTS Mobile Towers with total  customers base of more than 15 lakh GSM Mobile connection, 12837 landline connections, 70859 Fiber to Home ( FTTH) connections  and 594 Bharat Air Fiber connections. We aim to double the FTTH customer base in this year.
To achieve the motto of slogan “Behtar Sewa Naya Laksh” my priority will be to improve service delivery, service assurance, Public Grievances redressal mechanism, customer’s interaction through digital media, brand visibility to provide best services to our valuable customers up to self-esteem level.
In addition to above our earnest efforts will be put through to provide the best customer care through our updated Customer Service Centres (CSCs) and by deputing skilled staff in CSC’s.
I am very hopeful that BSNL services will satisfy our esteemed customers as per their aspirations &  we will together take BSNL ahead in the path of success to serve the customers of Himachal Pradesh  for its telecom requirements.
